Hello, I’m the newest member to the San Antonio LUGz! I’m an aspiring AFOL, and I want to grow up to be just like my team members. Let me introduce myself:
My named is Brandi, and I’m a lego addict. Not recovering…I received two boxes of Legos for Valentines’ Day. Before that, I collected the mini lego kits before
getting into the big stuff. Does this sound like you? If so, you should fit right in with us. The guys here are really cool and we are very family oriented. Have kids?
Bring them along!
I love Star Wars Legos! and also any type of vehicles that I can build. I haven’t quite yet started a MOC, but, it will be soon to come! Anyway, I’ve added a video for all to see.
Any Questions? Ask me! I love to help out .
Check this out….
Come and join us at the World’s Greatest Hobby Tour.
February 21 & 22, 2009 – Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center
Saturday: 10am to 6pm
Sunday: 10am to 5pm
We are having a meeting Feb. 8, 2009 2 PM at the Chili’s on Broadway and 410. Come on and join us.
We’ll be planning the Train show and HBCE 2009.
Bring your latest mocs and your favoriate LEGO moments.
So due to recent media attention I’ve gone ahead and uploaded the photos of the LEGO and Apple Store MOC I made for Maker Faire Austin 2008. I also uploaded the models to LEGO Factory so you can check out the instructions and build your own. Look for the computer store and the brick store models.
Update: A few people have noticed that the leaf on the top of the MOC is in the wrong direction for most of the photo’s. It fell off during transport to the show and was just placed back on in a hurry for the show. Someone also noted that it was a good nod to the logo no longer being used by Apple. \ = past / = future. I kind of like that thought.
We’ll be meeting at my place unless someone has a better idea. We’ll plan on making NXT based line followers. Bring your own NXT based solution or we’ll build one at my place.
See you all this Sunday at 2PM.
Chris
